Green Shoes at Last!

I found my green shoes!!! $9 on ebay can't be beat. Just hope I can walk in them...if not no biggie, it's only $9. Yes, Im a cheap bride, but I hate wearing heels and I will never wear these babies again. No sense in paying a fortune for them. And I love them!

Green With Envy

I'm on an ultimate quest to find an adorable pair of green shoes to wear for my wedding. I absolutely love wedding photography that has the bright pair of shoes peeking out from under the white dress. Unfortunately my search has been unsuccessful so far. While I've found plenty of photos of brides wearing green shoes, Im not able to find a place to purchase them at a reasonable price.

I came across these BP. shoes on The Brides Cafe blog. I'm pretty sure the only place that sells BP. shoes is Nordstrom so I searched there and all over google and Ebay with no luck in finding them.

These J Crew shoes are adorable but a bit on the expensive side at $235 (I will likely never wear them again) and unfortunately they no longer sell them.

It seems I am not the only bride out there with this green shoe dilemma. Allison at HaselBride found these gorgeous Christian Louboutins but $760 is a bit too much for a pair of shoes I will surely have troubles walking in

It looks like she found what she was looking for on Overstock.com with this cute pair of nine West shoes for only $30. Unfortunately Overstock no longer carries this color of these shoes.

While I could give up my search and stick with your typical white wedding shoe, I believe I'm destined to wear green shoes. I know it sounds crazy but in my first meeting with Rachel Priddy, my amazing photographer, as she was telling us about herself and her style of photography she mentioned that the one thing she always wanted to shoot was a pair of green shoes at a wedding. How random is that? And completely bizarre that we had only just met and I had yet to tell her about my love of green shoes!

The other shoe problem I'm having, other than the green issue, is that I absolutely have no skill for walking in heels. I don't know what it is, I just can't do it. Top that with the fact that I'm only 5' tall so flat shoes are a bit ridiculous with a wedding dress and the fact that Im getting married on a farm in dirt which presents a whole new challenge, I'm thinking I should just go barefoot. Or I could try this nifty invention called The Solemates which claim you will never sink into grass again.

Can someone please help me!
